Walmart offers you two options when it comes to moving boxes.

They can sell you boxes or you can go there after 10 pm and possibly get them free from the stock clerks.

If you need other moving supplies like shrink wrap and bubble wrap their selection is limited.

But if you need a loaf of bread or some milk you right here where everything is at.

The liquor store is a popular destination to pick up  free boxes. Its a good idea to check with the store manager as to what times are best to come by for boxes.

Oftentimes the liquor store boxes are small, so you would have to go someplace else if you need larger boxes.

If you need a drink you can grab that while you picking up the boxes.

The U-Haul store has cheaper boxes than we have found at other places.

Home depot has everything you need for moving and more. They sell boxes of all sizes along with any other moving materials you may need.

You can get tape, shrink wrap, bubble wrap, dollies, and moving blankets of all sizes. Their prices are just a little bit more than what the U-Haul stores are.

A huge advantage the Home Depot has over the U-Haul stores is convenience.

The U-Haul stores are busy renting U-Haul trucks and you may find yourself waiting a long time for them to get to you making a purchase of some boxes.

This U-Haul store has every moving supply you may need. They sell small, medium, large and extra large boxes. 

They also sell wardrobe boxes which are really handy for keeping clothes neat and unwrinkled. The wardrobe boxes have a metal bar to hang clothes on. You keep clothes on the hangar and go from them hanging in the closet to hanging in the box.

Wardrobe boxes can be expensive, selling for $10-$15 a box. 

If you can't afford to purchase moving boxes then its understandable for you to go to Walmart or the liquor store and get boxes.

But moving boxes are not THAT expensive and not worth the headache of dealing with late nights and possible uncooperative store clerks. Our recommendation is to go to Home Depot or U-Haul and grab your boxes. 

No they don't burn boxes here. They recycle. If you find yourself with boxes you don't need and have no way to get rid of them then you can drop them off here for free.
